Shabbat

Worship experiences at Woodlands are predominantly upbeat and
celebratory. We view worship as a microcosm for the outside world and,
as such, endeavor to include as much of the full gamut of human
experience — from joyous to sad, philosophical to emotional — as we

Here at Woodlands, we purposefully use “kabbalat” to describe one of our many signature worship experiences. Kabbalat Shabbat is for our entire community – from older members through grade-school-aged kids. It’s a regular Friday night service, but an hour earlier to accommodate older folks who don't like to drive late at night and our younger members' bedtimes.
